DCAP + Clean Cars 4 All
Get up to $18,000 in rebates on a used EV
If you missed the federal EV tax credit, you can still save thousands of dollars with rebates from WestLight Energy and our partners. The Driving Clean Assistance Program (DCAP) and Clean Cars 4 All in partnership with the California Air Resources Board (CARB) provide incentives statewide to assist income-qualified customers. You can get up to $13,500 off when purchasing a used EV—or up to $18,000 off if you trade in an older gas-powered car.

Charger & installation rebates
For Business
Charging on site is the simplest way to power your EV, and WestLight Energy helps cover the cost. Through our EV Ready program, businesses and multi-family properties can access special incentives to install EV charging stations.

For Home
If you live in a single-family home, you likely already have a charger in your garage, the electrical outlet near where you park. Using a regular electrical outlet (called “Level 1” charging) provides about 50 miles or more of recharge overnight, enough for most people’s day-to-day needs. If you need a higher-powered charger, you may be eligible for a $500-$1,000 install rebate from PG&E. Visit PG&E to find out more.

Income-qualified customers can get up to $18,000 total in rebates when buying a used EV. That includes $2,000 from WestLight Energy plus additional incentives from partners like PG&E, DCAP, and CCFA. Even without trading in an older gas-powered car, you can still save up to $13,500.
Not necessarily. You can qualify for up to $13,500 in rebates without scrapping a vehicle. If you trade in and scrap an older gas-powered car, your total savings can reach up to $18,000.
