Dear Valued ECO100 Customer,

We are reaching out to inform you of an upcoming change to our ECO100 service. Beginning January 1, 2025, the rate premium for our 100% renewable ECO100 product will increase by 0.5 cents per kWh. This is the first time since 2016 that the premium has gone up and is driven by the increasing cost of power. It will result in an estimated increase of $2 per month to your electricity bill.

Should you wish to change your service plan, our ECOplus standard product is our lowest cost option, and the good news is that it is 100% carbon-free energy from both renewable and large hydro resources. As of August 1, 2024, our ECOplus rates are 5% lower than PG&E’s default generation rates.

You are free to change your service plan from ECO100 to ECOplus at any time. If no action is taken, you’ll remain enrolled in our 100% renewable ECO100 product.
