Dear Customer,

Thank you for being a valued customer of WestLight Energy (formerly Peninsula Clean Energy) and for your commitment to solar energy. Your support helps us work towards a cleaner, more sustainable future.

We are writing to inform you about an important change in your solar tariff. As you reach the end of your participation under the Net Energy Metering (NEM) plan, you have been transitioned to the Solar Billing Plan (SBP).

As part of this transition, it is our priority to ensure you receive the full value of your existing NEM credits. This credit balance will appear on your PG&E bill in the next billing cycle. Here is how WestLight Energy handles NEM credits:

• For credit balances of $500 or more, you will receive a check in the mail.
• For credit balances under $500, you will receive an on-bill credit automatically.
• Credits are handled automatically. No action is required on your part.

As you transition from NEM to SBP, the way you are credited for the excess solar energy you send to the grid will change. Under SBP, the value of the solar energy you export to the grid will vary based on the time and day. Similarly to NEM, the SBP solar credits you earn can offset energy charges you may have.

We understand transitions can lead to questions, and we’re here to support you. If you have any questions or need further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to our customer service team at 1-866-966-0110 or email us at [email protected].

Thank you again for your continued support and for being a part of our mission to provide clean, sustainable energy.
